Our Story

One family. Three ways to stay.

For over forty years we have welcomed travellers to Kenmare with the same care we’d give a friend. Whether you’re here for a romantic break, a family reunion, or a Ring-of-Kerry road trip, you’ll find a comfortable bed, a warm fire and a homemade breakfast waiting.

Each of our houses sits within a short walk of Kenmare’s restaurants, traditional pubs and harbour, while the mountains, lakes and coastline of South Kerry begin just outside the door.

The Setting

A heritage town between mountain and sea.

Kenmare sits at the head of a sea inlet where the Caha and Macgillycuddy mountains meet the Atlantic. Designated a Heritage Town, it is a natural starting point for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara, and a quieter, more characterful base than Killarney.

From our doorstep you can wander to award-winning restaurants and traditional music sessions, or set out for Killarney National Park, the Skellig Coast and Sheen Falls — all within an hour’s drive.

Guest Reviews
“One of the warmest welcomes we’ve had in Ireland. The breakfast is genuinely the best we ate on a two-week trip — and Marian’s brown bread alone is worth the visit.” — TripAdvisor review, summer 2025
